Bitcoin.org, a website hosting useful resources for the Bitcoin community, was compromised earlier today. Users who visited the website were greeted with a pop-up message advertising a typical crypto “giveaway” scam. The pop-up provided a Bitcoin address, and claimed that users who would send BTC to the address would receive twice as many BTC back.
The Crypto Hall of Fame project says that they will be minting the remainder of their non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on RSK, a smart contracts platform secured by the Bitcoin network. The Crypto Hall of Fame is a series of 21 portraits created by digital artist Max Cryptohead. The first 11 portraits from the series were minted as ERC-721 standard tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, but the remaining 10 will be minted on RSK through Nifty Labs’ NFT Minter module.
