Key highlights:
- TAO has rallied 89% from one analyst’s accumulation zone, with $3,000 still in view
- Bittensor's 2025 halving cut daily emissions from 7,200 TAO to 3,600 TAO, reducing new supply entering the market
- TAO faces key resistance at $295-$350, while CoinCodex targets $200.30 over one month
After months of accumulation, the TAO price is finally showing signs of life. Crypto Patel, one of the analysts who stayed bullish on Bittensor through the whole correction, pointed out that TAO is already up about 89% from the bottom of his accumulation zone.
Even after that bounce, he thinks the move might still be early. His long-term target is $3,000, and he says the bullish case stays intact as long as the higher-timeframe structure holds up.
The market seems to be paying attention. TAO is trading around $272.58, up 2.47% on the week. It moved between $260.65 and $276.91 over the last few days, with buyers stepping in after early weakness and pushing it back toward the top of that range.
Right now, Patel is watching the $300–$350 zone. A weekly close above that area could be the next big signal that this recovery has more room to go.

Hope Your Patience Is Finally Paying Off. Enjoy The Ride.
But I’m Not Calling The Top Yet.

Why investors are watching Bittensor closely
The TAO price is not moving on hype alone. Bittensor's ecosystem continues to expand, and that growth creates demand for the network's native token. BSC News explained that Bittensor operates through specialized AI subnets that compete to provide different services.
Bittensor uses token prices to decide how much each AI subnet earns
Bittensor runs on subnets, separate groups that each compete to supply one kind of AI service. The chain creates new $TAO every 12 seconds and splits it among them.

The network mints a new TAO every 12 seconds and distributes rewards based on subnet performance. Reward distribution is split between subnet owners, miners, validators, and stakers, creating incentives for network participation.
The ecosystem itself has also grown rapidly. Data cited in the research shows Bittensor reached 129 active AI subnets, giving the network a much larger utility base than it had during previous market cycles. That matters because the TAO price is becoming increasingly tied to actual network activity and adoption.
Institutional demand and halving still work in TAO's favor
One of the biggest developments for Bittensor came in December 2025. The network completed its first halving on December 14, 2025, reducing block rewards from 1 TAO to 0.5 TAO. As a result, daily token emissions fell from 7,200 TAO to 3,600 TAO.
Like Bitcoin, Bittensor has a maximum supply of 21 million TAO, so lower emissions create a stronger scarcity narrative. If demand keeps growing and supply growth remains constrained, the TAO price could continue benefiting from that imbalance.
The institutional story around Bittensor is also getting stronger. Grayscale has filed for a spot TAO ETF, known as GTAO, and reports indicate the trust already holds more than $13 million in assets.
At the same time, public companies such as xTAO Inc. and TAO Synergies have been building large TAO positions to support validator operations and network infrastructure. Every token moved into long-term treasury holdings reduces liquid supply available on exchanges.
When combined with the halving, this creates a setup where supply growth is slowing at the same time new sources of demand are entering the market.
The TAO price chart still favors the bulls
The technical picture remains constructive despite some signs of short-term exhaustion. We had a look at the daily TAO chart and found the token trading around $266.90, well above its 100-day simple moving average at $214.20.
Daily TAO chart analysis
Staying above that level keeps the broader trend pointed upward. Trading volume reached 105,870 TAO, showing healthy participation behind the move. Momentum remains strong too. The daily RSI is at 68.86, which puts it close to overbought territory.
Looking at the shorter timeframe, the TAO price traded around $267.10, and the next major resistance level appears near $295.80. The RSI there has climbed to 71.39, which means some cooling off would not be surprising.
4-hour TAO chart analysis
That does not necessarily mean a reversal is coming. It simply means the market may need time to digest gains before attempting another breakout. As long as support between $234 and $258 holds, the bullish structure remains intact.
TAO on-chain data points to recovery
The on-chain data supports what the charts are showing. Bittensor's market capitalization stands near $2.55 billion, with most of its recent activity taking place inside a range between $2.1 billion and $2.55 billion.
That type of stability often appears during accumulation phases. Another encouraging sign is the drawdown from the previous all-time high. The TAO price remains roughly 67% to 70% below its peak near $800, but the gap has been narrowing as the token recovered from around $240 to $266.
In other words, the market is recovering, but it is still far from the euphoric conditions typically associated with major cycle tops.
Where could the TAO price go next?
A move to $3,000 would require a massive rally from current levels, but that is the target Crypto Patel continues to monitor. Before getting there, he sees several checkpoints along the way. His roadmap includes $1,100, $1,500, and eventually $3,000+ if the broader trend remains intact.
The first challenge is much closer. Bulls need to clear the $295-$300 zone. If that happens, the next levels become $350, $400, $500, and beyond. CoinCodex's 1-month TAO price prediction places the token around $200.30. That forecast is below the current price near level which implies a pullback.
For now, the TAO price has several things working in its favor: lower token emissions after the halving, growing institutional interest, an expanding subnet ecosystem, and a chart structure that remains bullish above key support levels.
