Revolut, a UK fintech, has announced the launch of EURR, a token pegged to the euro. The stablecoin will first be available to customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal, according to a company statement on X.

How EURR fits into the Revolut app
The company said this is "the first step" in its stablecoin plan that will later include tokens pegged to other currencies as well. The firm added that it would bring EURR to more customers in the European Economic Area later this year.
The new token will be integrated on the Revolut app, allowing customers to alternate between Euros and crypto on-chain without having to leave the platform they use for everyday banking.
Iman Olya, Revolut's product owner of Stablecoin, framed the launch as an extension of what the company does with currency exchange.
"Revolut initially eliminated hidden fees and friction in currency exchange," he said. "Now we are doing the exact same thing for crypto."
EURR is issued by Bridge, a stablecoin infrastructure company owned by Stripe. Bridge will hold and manage the reserve assets backing the token.
The launch also puts Revolut in the same category as other companies like Mastercard and Visa and banks that rolled out stablecoin projects over the past year.
The fintech firm has been building out its other businesses
The EURR launch is only the latest in a string of moves the company has made in recent times. In July, the company linked its crypto exchange, Revolut X, to AI tools like Claude, Gemini, OpenClaw, and Cursor.
That integration lets customers pull market data, check their accounts, and make trades using simple instructions. To note, the orders still need manual approval before it goes through. Revolut also added a plugin and command-line tool, so other compatible AI platforms can link up with Revolut X through its API.
The firm’s app first launched as a desktop crypto exchange for UK customers in May 2024 before moving into other European markets and adding a mobile version.
Additionally, the company’s regulated banking push progressed this year. In March, the company got approval from the UK's Prudential Regulation Authority to launch Revolut Bank UK. That approval lets eligible UK customer deposits qualify for protection under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Interestingly, the fintech company also applied to the U.S. OCC for a national banking charter as the country awaits stablecoin rules on the GENIUS Act. This would give the company access to U.S. banking infrastructure for payments, credit, among others.
Revolut's overall business has been growing. A share sale by employees in July valued the company at $115 billion, with over 75 million customers and $6 billion in 2025 revenue reported at the time. EURR gives the firm another product it can plug into its existing customer base.
