Key highlights:
- The KAS price is down roughly 83% from its $0.15 peak and remains in a clear bearish trend
- Kaspa is approaching key support at $0.018923–$0.017000, with $0.034102 acting as major resistance
- The Toccata upgrade boosted covenant activity more than 15 times, but KAS remains near $0.025
The Kaspa price is near $0.025 after losing roughly 83% from its all-time high around $0.15. That puts KAS close to some of its lowest levels in the current cycle, but the bigger question now is whether the token can finally find a bottom.
More Crypto Online raised that question with its latest KAS chart analysis, pointing to the $0.018923–$0.017000 area as the next major support zone. At the same time, Kaspa's Toccata upgrade has delivered new network functionality, yet the KAS price has continued to struggle.
Kaspa price remains deep in a downtrend
We had a look at the KAS/USDT chart, and the larger trend remains bearish. The Kaspa price is around $0.025326, compared with its previous peak near $0.15. That represents an approximate 83% decline.

The chart continues to show lower highs and lower lows, confirming that sellers remain in control of the bigger trend. KAS is also trading below several important Fibonacci levels. The 38.2% level is at $0.030328, the 50% level is at $0.032160, and the 61.8% level is at $0.034102.
These levels now represent resistance. Before bulls can establish a stronger recovery, the Kaspa price would need to reclaim these areas. For now, $0.028 is the first psychological resistance to watch, followed by $0.030328 and $0.034102.
Toccata Upgrade has not translated into a KAS price recovery
Kaspa's weak price performance comes despite the Toccata upgrade going live on June 30, 2026. BSCN reported that the upgrade activated on mainnet without technical problems.
Toccata introduced native Layer-1 covenants, covenant IDs, ZK proof verification and sequencing facilities, giving the network new programmable functionality. Kaspa's UTXO architecture remained unchanged, and the network continues to process around 10 blocks per second.
How has Kaspa fared since the Toccata Upgrade?

There has also been measurable growth in covenant activity. BSCN reported that covenant activity increased by more than 15 times during the first few weeks after the upgrade, with tokens, vaults and other experiments appearing on-chain.
The problem is that this network activity has not translated into sustained price strength. After a short rally around the upgrade date, the KAS price fell back toward $0.025, leaving Kaspa with a market capitalization of roughly $700 million.
Can KAS finally form a bottom?
The chart gives traders a few levels to watch. If the KAS price holds around $0.020 and eventually reaches the $0.018923–$0.017000 support zone, buyers could attempt to establish a base. A successful recovery would first need to reclaim $0.028, followed by $0.030328 and $0.034102.
A break above $0.034102 would be more meaningful because it would put KAS back above the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement. From there, the chart points toward $0.040 and potentially $0.050–$0.060. According to CoinCodex’s 1-month Kaspa price prediction, the price is projected to reach around $0.03399.
For now, though, the Kaspa price remains in a clear downtrend. Toccata has added new capabilities to the network, and covenant activity has increased more than 15 times, but KAS still needs stronger price action to prove that a durable bottom is forming.
