Since launching on July 1, the Robinhood Chain network has seen more than 65,000 users. These users hold around $13 million worth of tokenized stocks and $300 million in stablecoins on the platform.

Bernstein analysts highlights Robinhood’s chain early adoption

Analysts at Bernstein shared that the early success is a testament to a larger trend in the market. According to analyst Gautam Chhugani and his team, tokenized real-world assets are now merging with decentralized finance. This creates new options for investors and developers.

"Strong early adoption highlights the growing convergence of tokenized real-world assets with the broader DeFi ecosystem," the analysts noted.

The new blockchain was built on Arbitrum and was designed just for tokenized assets and financial services. It allows users to trade assets around the clock while having access to lending, collateral, among others.

Many crypto companies have already integrated with the ecosystem. For instance, Uniswap was among the first to go live on the chain. Others include Morpho, Lighter, Chainlink, and BitGo.

The network's growth is thanks to its range of offerings. They include tokenized stocks, decentralized lending services, and perpetual futures trading.

Tokenized assets drive momentum

The blockchain's goal is to support tokenized stocks, commodities, and other real-world assets. However, most of the early activity on Robinhood Chain has been driven by meme coins.

Bernstein said that speculative trading dominated the first few days after launch before liquidity from other crypto markets began flowing into the ecosystem.

Recent data showed the chain is now processing as much as $809 million in daily DEX volume, ranking it third among all blockchain networks behind only Solana and BNB Chain. The network has also seen strong growth in DeFi activity.  TVL has now passed $134 million within just 13 days of launch.

Additional figures shared by Robinhood showed that the blockchain processed over 17 million transactions in its opening week. It also saw about 350,000 addresses and reached $250 million in protocol TVL. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev shared in the excitement in one of his recent X posts.

The overall tokenization market is also growing at an incredible pace. Bernstein said that tokenized real-world assets have grown to more than $51 billion, which is about 50% growth since the start of the year.
