Key highlights:
- XRPL AI Hub would be a central platform for AI projects, tools, and payment services
- Agentic payments on the network have now crossed over 1 million
- Ripple’s t54.ai developed the hub with support from the firm’s developers
In the latest Ripple news, t54.ai announced the launch of the XRP Ledger AI Hub. This is a new platform designed to bring together AI agents, payment services, developer tools, and blockchain applications in one place.
AI activity on XRP Ledger now has a home.
Today, we’re launching the XRPL AI Hub, featuring our ecosystem launch partner @virtuals_io.

The launch happened to coincide with the XRP Ledger crossing over 1 million processed agentic payments through the x402 protocol. This suggests a growing use of AI transactions.
XRP Ledger AI Hub brings AI tools into one platform
According to t54.ai, the hub would work as a central destination for all projects building AI apps on the network.
The hub would work in three sections. The first one tracks live x402 payment activity, which allows users to monitor transactions as they take place on the network.
Section two provides developer resources, including documentation, software development kits (SDKs), among others. The third is a directory of AI agents, merchants, services, and projects already operating within the ecosystem.
This new XRP Ledger update is particularly important because as more AI apps use blockchain technology for payments and automation, developers often lack the right resources. The hub is looking to reduce that friction by bringing everything together in one space.
“As more agents, merchants, and services come to XRPL, builders need one place to see what is live, what is possible, and where to contribute,” t54.ai said
Agentic payments pass a major milestone
The launch comes just weeks after Ripple introduced the AI Starter Kit. This is a toolkit that allows AI agents to send and receive payments using XRP and RLUSD. Activity on the ledger has continued to grow since then.
The XRP Ledger Foundation recently confirmed that the network has now processed more than 1 million agentic payments through x402.
We just surpassed 1,000,000 agentic payments via x402 on the $XRP Ledger. Time to double down.

The new milestone shows strong demand for systems where AI agents can make transactions without getting humans involved.
XRPL validator Vet said he was “not surprised” this was achieved. He said that the network is well suited for AI payments because of its low transaction costs, deep liquidity, and built-in decentralized exchange. These features allow AI systems to move money quickly.
Network upgrade progress continues
Data from XRPSCAN showed that 55% of the ledger’s trusted validators have now upgraded to xrpld v3.2.0. Exactly 86 out of the 136 validators are currently running on the version. Meanwhile, 44% of all nodes have installed the update.

More work needs to be done before the XRP Ledger upgrade goes live. Governance rules expect at least 80% of trusted validators to approve the new change for a duration of two consecutive weeks. After this, the version would be officially activated.
